Spanish Gamble – Interview / Practice
I went up to Gainesville and hung out with my friends from Spanish Gamble. I tried to interview them, but we just really hung out with the camera and did the things we normally do. I got to sit in while they practiced and wrote new material. We went downtown and got into trouble. We shot two more tapes of slurring ridiculousness that didn’t make the cut. A lot did. Including an unfinished, untitled song/work in progress that rules. Check it out.
Joey Cape – The Ramones Are Dead
Balcony TV is a Dublin, Ireland-based viral music show which features bands and artists performing on balconies around the world. Recently they captured Joey Cape performing ‘The Ramones Are Dead.’ Joey is currently releasing a song a month on the way to a physical release of his next record, Doesn’t Play Well With Others. Anti-Flag w/ Billy Bragg – Should I Stay Or Should I Go
In a memorable performance, Billy Bragg joined Anti-Flag on stage to play a collection of Clash songs with the band towards the end of their set at Harvest of Hope this past weekend. Before jumping into the series of covers, Chris #2 (bassist of Anti-Flag) proclaimed The Clash as A-F’s favorite band and Billy Bragg as their favorite person. The video features the collaboration playing “Should I Stay Or Should I Go”.

Frank Turner – Live at Generation Records
Frank Turner has made the journey across the pond to tour this month with Celtic punks Flogging Molly. While in New York, he stopped by Generation Records for a solo in-store performance. Turner played a mixture of songs from Love, Ire, & Song, Poetry of the Deed, and First Three Years as well as a new untitled song.
