Small Brown Bike – Full Set (The Fest 6)

Marshall, Michigan’s Small Brown Bike called it quits in 2004 after eight years of recording and touring. The members moved on to form LaSalle & Able Baker Fox. In September 2007, after a three year hiatus, Small Brown Bike got back together for a string of shows in Michigan and Chicago, culminating in their final show at The Fest 6 in Gainesville, FL. They gave it their all, breaking strings and ripping vocal chords to an all-star crowd on the stage behind them and a packed room of about a thousand fans singing along.

A Wilhelm Scream – Full Set (The Fest 7)

After years of fine-tuning their sound on their own terms, New Bedford, MA’s A Wilhelm Scream played The Fest 7, their first Fest. Even though it seems unlikely after seeing the video, they opened the whole thing off at The Venue (the main venue) on Halloween 2008 to an ecstatic crowd.

Vinyl Vlog: First Press Episode Four w/Landmines & Gaslight Anthem Review

Episode Four of First Press from our Buddies over at Vinyl Vlog features a drunken interview with Tony from Landmines…and not as in Tony is drunk. A very honest review of a Gaslight EP and a pretty hilarious bit about vinyl round it out nicely.

Latterman – Long Island Houseshow 2001

‘In name of DIY, here’s an old video from 2001 of Long Island’s Latterman. This is the first incarnation of the band with drummer Bryce Hackford and Dan Sposato on guitar. This band has generated a lot of lesser than (<) , greater than (>) sign talk with their hydra like ability to form great bands.

This video is from the Walklor Productions’ Between Resistance & Community: The Long Island Do-it-yourself Punk Scene.

Vinyl Vlog: First Press Episode Three w/Murder By Death and Reviews of Able Baker Fox

Episode Three, the latest, as we’re catching up with a triple header tonight, has an amazing interview with Adam from Murder By Death after a healthy review of Able Baker Fox’s vinyl. Also, some specifics of how to manually modify your imperfect vinyl. Enjoy!

Vinyl Vlog: First Press Episode Two w/Serious Genisues/Young Livers/WWD

Episode Two from Viny Vlog features reviews and interviews a plenty. Namely, our good friends and local heroes Young Livers talking about their new 7″ releases. And of course some timeless Wayne’s World nods…and don’t ask me about the Central Junior High talent show…it was 1991, we threw it together the night before over stolen warm beers from my folks…and to one person out there specifically, quit threatening YouTube and post it all ready. Also check out their pre-Fest rundown including tips on how to carry your vinyl around without fucking it up.
