Less Than Jake – Live in Boston

Check out Gainesville natives Less Than Jake as they perform “Summon Monsters” live in Boston, MA at the Paradise Lounge. The video was shot by Vinyl Vlog’s Joshua Pratt.

Polar Bear Club – The Fest 8

Polar Bear Club have had a lot of buzz for the past couple of years. Some people disregard their sound as ground well covered by hardcore bands playing VFW’s a decade back. However, those that get it (or weren’t there the first time around) are rewarded with some of the best emocore to be heard in years. Yeah, I know. I dropped the E word. But, it wasn’t as bad a term back in the days of Mineral, ATDI, Texas Is The Reason and (well at least the first record from) SDRE. Check out some of their performance from The FEST 8 to see a whole room full and then some that get it and scream right along. And keep a look out for an interview we did with Jimmy that will be posted later this week or next.

A Wilhelm Scream – Video Interview (The Fest 8)

A Wilhelm Scream sat down with us (Josh Mocle and Joshua Pratt) at The FEST 8 Registration Pool Party and answered some questions about their new record, which comes out tomorrow. I even edited in some teaser pieces of it. Enjoy!

Dead To Me – Fail Safe Warehouse Aftershow (The Fest 8)

San Francisco, CA’s Dead To Me has been going through some changes leading up to the release of African Elephants, their latest full-length on Fat Wreck (out today!). Founding member Jack decided to hang it up for a while and focus on family, so the quartet turned trio decided to not let that stop them and keep on making music. They played at the Fail Safe Records Warehouse during The FEST 8. Take a look for yourself…there is nothing missing in this trio or their performance.
