Polar Bear Club have had a lot of buzz for the past couple of years. Some people disregard their sound as ground well covered by hardcore bands playing VFW’s a decade back. However, those that get it (or weren’t there the first time around) are rewarded with some of the best emocore to be heard in years. Yeah, I know. I dropped the E word. But, it wasn’t as bad a term back in the days of Mineral, ATDI, Texas Is The Reason and (well at least the first record from) SDRE. Check out some of their performance from The FEST 8 to see a whole room full and then some that get it and scream right along. And keep a look out for an interview we did with Jimmy that will be posted later this week or next.
